January 2011 – Rigmuir Turbine – HV Cable run, Fusions part of this large project included to excavate all hard areas on the route from Rigmuir gas turbine site to east kilbrides Craigs hill area – through the roads on the Industrial park. The Rigmuir landfill Gas turbine is powered by methane produced from decomposing rubbish, The Turbine itself powers a 3MW generator that will run providing a free source of energy for many years providing vital electricity supplies for Industry & the local Area

(Fusion recommends air entrained concrete for all external concreting works – tests have shown that concrete surfaces are less likely to break up or spawl over time in severe ice conditions if Air entrained concrete is used)
