Civil Engineering Works at Daer Reservoir

Fusion recently completed essential civil engineering works to facilitate the installation of Chlorine Lines at Daer Reservoir in South Lanarkshire.

The works involved the excavation of a 0.6 metre wide by 0.6 metre deep trench and reinstatement in:

116 metres in grass/soft earth

60 metres in tarmac roadways

5 metres in paving slabs &

5 metres in road crossing.

On completion of the installation of the chlorine lines, the pipes were protected with 100mm of sand and then backfilled and the site reinstated to its original condition.

All waste was removed from site.
